A documentary film to revolutioniZe the way we think about health and the human body

Life is electric. Our vital signs (heart rate, heart rhythm, and brain activity) are electrical signals that doctors use to diagnose medical problems. But the electric nature of life runs much deeper than this. For centuries, scientists have postulated the existence of an electric or electromagnetic field that governs all life. Researchers in more recent times have developed equipment capable of actually measuring this field. Changes in the electromagnetic field occur before, during, and after any change in health status.

Treatments based on electromagnetic principles are also now being used to treat a wide range of medical conditions including: pain, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and cancer. Electricity has also been used to regrow limbs in animals and mend fractures in humans.

In many cases the appropriate application of electromagnetic fields has been shown to be more effective than the medications that are currently used, and without the side effects. This is very important because prescribed medications are now a leading cause of death – more than 106,000 people die each year in the United States alone due to the side effects of medications.

The understanding of the Body Electric has the potential to revolutionize medicine. In the future, medical treatments will be based on the prescription of appropriate frequencies (electroceuticals) rather than pharmaceuticals.

Justin is the producer/director of STATIN NATION and STATIN NATION II. These films expose the medical corruption that has led to the mass over-prescription of cholesterol-lowering medications. STATIN NATION II also investigates the real causes of heart disease and looks beyond the current system that puts profit before patients.

Both STATIN NATION films were funded by the general public.

BODY ELECTRIC will be Justin's third documentary film.

Prior to being a filmmaker, for 4 years, Justin was based at the BBC in West London as a personal trainer, sports massage therapist and nutrition coach. And for seven years he was a competitive cyclist.

Before his career as a health practitioner, Justin obtained a degree in engineering. He believes that this scientific background has provided him with the ability to evaluate published research and the conclusions that are drawn from it.

Justin has also completed the Guardian Masterclass in Investigative Journalism.

Radiation from Mobile Devices and the effects on health

The debate about the potential health effects associated with cell phones and other wireless devices is not a new one. However, in recent years there has been growing concern, not just about the potential cancer risks, but also the effects on reproduction, on wildlife, and various aspects of the environment.

The potential effects on human reproduction are of particular concern. Recent data has shown alarming reductions in male fertility in the Western world, with a 60% reduction in sperm count - reduced sperm count and quality, as well as reproduction problems in women, have been linked to cell phone use.

The movie Children of Men (2006, Director Alfonso Cuardn) depicts a dystopian world set in 2027 where human reproduction is no longer possible.  The world rapidly loses hope and falls into chaos.

In the movie no one knows exactly what has caused the infertility - a wide range of potential causes are briefly mentioned. However, interestingly, no one has a cell phone. This could simply be because the chaos has led to a breakdown of the network, or did the writers somehow have a premonition regarding the impact of the drastic increase in electromagnetic radiation due to wireless devices?

Although we have been concerned about overpopulation, in fact, according to the United Nations, “in recent years, fertility has declined in virtually all areas of the world” and “significant ageing of the population in the next several decades is projected for most regions of the world”.

There is also a considerable amount of additional important information that has not yet been brought into the discussion.

Considering our ever increasing use of wireless devices, this is an issue that needs to be investigated urgently. Health authorities have repeatedly stated "more research is needed" but scientists who want to continue to research this area have had their departments closed down, and they have personally been retired off early.

This has very recently happened to Professor Olle Johansson at the Karolinska institute - a prominent researcher in the field of electromagnetic field safety, who last November was forced to retire prematurely.  In fact, looking back into the history of this subject we see that this is a familiar pattern, Other prominent researchers including Ross Adey, Robert Becker and Henry Lai have been subject to silencing attempts or have had funding cut.

The authorities that regulate this area are working on the basis that there are no biological effects below the tissue heating threshold. This much, we know for sure is nonsense. Biological effects occur at intensities more than 1000 times less than that of a mobile phone. But the potential health risks are not just related to the intensity of the signal - they also depend on the other characteristics, such as the frequency.

the documentary will not be anti-technology, quite the contrary

The aim of this documentary film is to undertake a detailed and balanced investigation into the potential health affects associated with wireless devices. Then, to investigate how the technology might be advanced in order to mitigate the risks and what are the best precautions for individual people to take.
